Luckynews Classic Hotel Taoyuan, Taoyuan

I had mixed feelings about my stay at this hotel. The shuttle service was convenient, and the staff were friendly. However, the room itself was not great, with stains on the carpet and an unclean feel. The airport pick-up was late, which added to my frustration. Overall, it could be a value for money option, but the cleanliness of the rooms leaves a lot to be desired.

I found this hotel to be a decent value for the money, especially given its proximity to the train and bus stations, making it convenient for exploring the Taoyuan area. The rooms were clean and spacious, but the breakfast service had a major hiccup that disrupted my stay. The staff was generally helpful, but I did encounter some issues with a rude front desk agent during my initial arrival which was disappointing.

My stay at the hotel was quite mixed. The location was great, just a short walk from the train station and shopping mall, making it convenient for travel. The staff truly went above and beyond to assist us, especially during a medical emergency with my baby. However, the bathroom privacy could be improved, and the access to the lift was a bit inconvenient with luggage due to the stairs.

I chose this hotel mainly for the free airport shuttle service, but there were definitely mixed feelings about my stay. The room could use some serious updates and cleaning, and while the airport shuttle was prompt on the return, the pick-up was frustratingly late. Despite its quirks, the hotel does offer decent value for the price, especially if you just need a place to crash during a transit.
